Becker High Whistles are NOT---available in these keys: C, D, E, Eb, F, G
The Becker Whistles are made to have a clear voice, a solid bottom note, an easy flip to the higher octave, fairly low air requirements, and no surprises!
Each whistle take loads of handwork--from cutting to length, marking the windway, cutting out the windway, cleaning and preparing the windway, sizing the fipple block, cutting the mouthpiece curve with the scroll saw, marking the fingerholes, drilling them on the drill press , and then making every part silky smooth to the touch using various abrasives and handwork.
I make these each by hand by myself in my home shop. Each one is one of a kind, carefully voiced and tuned. Only the best ones are shipped out. They are now being played in places like England, Canada, Ireland, Scotland, Spain, Italy, Israel, Austria, Germany, Australia, Singapore, Tasmania and most US states. Thanks all!
