Hi there whistlers.....I hope you are doing well and playing lots of music.  I have 24 whistles on my bench currently.  They are at the mark and drill fingerhole stage.    That puts them about 50% done at this point.   Then comes the cleaning up of sharp edges and burrs, undercutting the fingerholes, and smoothing and polishing.......packing and shipping, of course.
It has been a nice spring here in Missouri.   Temperatures have been in the 60-80 range for several weeks and the grass and plants are taking off.  I am a sempervivem grower/fancier.  In laymen's terms, that is "hens and chicks"----or for you friends in the UK, houseleeks.    I have 10-15 varieties in about 70 ceramic or plastic pots, and spring is the most fun time......when the hens shoot out a circle of small offspring plants---the chicks.
My mom is having her 92nd birthday on Sunday and she is doing well.   My sister from Oklahoma is coming for a visit this week.  We will be singing a duet at church on Sunday---for Mom.
I have taken up disc golf for fun and exercise.   Went out tonight after supper for a round----it was beautiful....peaceful, quiet.    Shot 2 over par.....but no out of bounds shots....so that's good.
Hey, that's all for tonight.   Pleasant dreams....or sunny days to you all!    James
